Hi all,

Hopefully, this e-mail finds you well, and you managed to get ok through the last two/three months.

Let me know if I can be of any help with fitness, core strength, Pilates, mobility, flexibility or nutrition advice or help. I plan to start recording a weekly video where I either answer your question or talk about fitness, health, nutrition-related topic or demo and show different exercises.

Thanks to those who already joined some of my Online Pilates & Cores Strength Classes in the last few weeks, since late March 2020. I hope you got something out of it and found the 60min long classes benefical.

You can choose between two Tuesday evening Men Only Classes 6pm and 7.30pm and various mid-morning classes (mainly men beside the Wednesday 10am and Thursday 10am class – Over 60s/Active Seniors)

There is a limit of 11 class participants per class for the online classes.

The online class prices are:
(1) Once-off / Drop-In class €13
(2) INTRODUCTION OFFER – available *once per person*
_- a Block of Classes €32 (to be used within 5 weeks of purchasing)
(3) a Block of 4 classes €50 (to be used within 5 weeks of purchasing)
(4) a Block of 8 classes €90 (to be used within 10 weeks of purchasing)

Regarding In-Person Classes
.
Taney Parish Centre / Dundrum plans to hopefully open mid-August, if not definitely early September. Sandyford Community Centre is currently preparing for opening, but the manager doesn’t know yet when they will open.
I haven’t heard back from Belarmine Community Centre at all.

[This is for those who already attended some of my online classes]
There are also suggestions/options for a “Contribution Payment – for already attended Online Classes.”
in the last few weeks and months a the bottom of the **Class Packages & Gift-Certs… ** page.

Please consider adding a bit extra money, as a lot of time, work and effort went into setting up
the new website and figuring all the necessary things out, besides actually teaching the classes.

News #11 Virtual Online – Golfers Pilates & Core Strength Classes Tuesday & Friday Morning start Tues 14th April 2020

Are you playing or better were you playing Golf up to a few weeks back, pre the global Covid-19 or Corona Virus outbreak? Here is your chance to brush up on your Core-Strength & Pilates Skills and learn various (1) Strengthening, (2) Mobilizing and (3 ) Loosening Exercises specifically chosen for Golfers.

I was teaching a Golf focused Pilates & Core-Strength Class up to around four weeks back, in a local Golf club ( Dun Laoghaire Golf Club ) in Enniskerry (South of Dublin) for the last one and a half years.

News #10 How to access one of our *Live Online Classes* with your Mobile-Phone or Tablet ( Personal Online Training & Online Coaching available)

A step by step guide. This video is for you if you want to join one of my Live Online Fitness or Health Classes (Pilates, Fitness, Toning, Weight-Loss, etc.). Or if you consider availing of Live Online Personal Training sessions from your (1) Mobile Phone or (2) your Tablet.

The video will demonstrate how simple and easy it is to access one of my Online Exercise, Fitness and Nutrition Coaching Sessions.

Here a Quick-Guide with the steps:

    1. You will get a message with a website-link (this might be an SMS/text or Whatsapp message, an e-mail or similar).
    2. Simply click on the provided link, from there everything should be an easy-peasy lemon squeezy step by step process. 
    3. An internet browser should automatically open. ( Andriod: access worked in 100% of cases so far, iPhone/iPad: You might have to install an app from “Whereby.com”, that allows access to the classroom – some customers, who use Apple devices,  didn’t have to do that). 
    4. You will be asked to provide your name, please use your full first name and the initial letter of your surname (so I know who will join the class or service). 
    5. Give the classroom website tool access to your camera and microphone, confirm permission. 
    6. Knock on our “virtual classroom door”, and you will be let in to join the class assuming you are booked in.  
    7. Enjoy the class or training!
    8. Please leave feedback after the class, so we, as a team, can improve the service for you and everybody else

In the video below you will see how easy and simple it is to access one of my (1) Live Group Online Classes or (2) Live Online One-to-One Training and Coaching session from your laptop or desktop computer (the same applies also to your smartphone or your tablet).

You simply click on the website link you got when you pre-booked a group online class or private one-to-one training & coaching session, which should open a browser.

Alternatively, you could write or copy the provided link into a browser like Chrome, Firefox or Safari press Enter/Return and you are on your way to your Live Online Fitness or Pilates session.

News #4 📽 🎞 Pilates Video – Warm-Up Exercise Roll-Down with a Push-Up (No. 14) 🎥

Here the third Pilates Exercise Online Video (as before a copy from my old website) to keep you on your toes.

In this video you are going to learn a very simple, yet effective “Warm-Up Exercise”. It’s easy to do and I will show you a few different variations in the video (from Beginners to Intermediate Level).

The “Roll-Down with a Push-Up” combines back / spine mobilization and loosening with an upper-body warm-up (shoulders, chest and arms) plus adds a stretch for your hamstrings and calves (back of your legs) as well.

You don’t even need a mat, just a bit of space.

This exercise can simply be added to other warm-up exercises like neck, back, shoulder and spine mobilization moves, a bit of foam-rolling, some dynamic stretching etc..

Always do an 8-10 minute warm-up routine, as this prepares the body for your main workout and aim to make the warm-up exercises specific to the exercises you plan to do.h

News #3 📽 🎞 Pilates for Golf / Golfers “A Back Strengthening and Loosening Routine, Mini-Programme” with Martin (No. 19) 🎥

In the short Pilates Video below I’m talking you through a brief “Pilates Back Strengthing and Loosening Routine” that you might do
(1) at home
(2) as part of a general Morning / Wake-Up Routine
(3) as part of your Golf Warm-Up
(4) as part of your Cool-Down, Back Stretching routine in the gym
(5) after your team training, GAA Gaelic Football, Hurling, Soccer or Rugby …
etc..

This Mini-Circuit consists of three exercises, that work on different parts of your back. These exercises complement each other and work very well together to maintain general back and spine health, assuming you don’t have any major back, neck or shoulder issues.

(1) Pilates – Shoulder Bridge (version 1a)
(2) Pilates – Chest Opener, Crab, Crocodile (version 1)
(3) Pilates – Swimming, also referred to as Superman (version 1b)
